Brenda S Peterson, a budding artist from Cosmopolis began her art career as a child in Elkhart, Indiana with her art chosen and shared in her community newspaper. Art has always been one of the top of her list of activities that she pleasures in.

Her paintings have one ribbons at both Greys Harbor and Pacific County fairs, and the associated arts of Ocean Shores. She has participated in the festivals of Eatenville, Gig Harbour, Puyallup,Hoquim, Art walks in Aberdeen and exhibited at the Westport winery and many other venues.

Brenda style of oil paintings were influenced by Victorian studies from the turn of the century.  Roses and flowers have been her passion. Brenda has ventured into new territory by abstract fluid watercolors, acrylics and trying out new styles of painting. She incorporates her styles by adding bright bold and cheerful contemporary colours to a more abstract look. Brenda enjoys also painting, landscapes animals and people as well.
