I grew up with an artist father who became an art director for the U.S. Forest Service, a mother who created porcelain dolls from scratch and fired them, painted them, and sewed and crocheted the clothing.  My grandmother was a wonderful oil painter and my only brother is an amazing jeweler.  My first memories at age almost 3 are of having my dad give me art lessons.  I was hooked.  I sold my first paintings at age 14 and the rest is history.
