I moved to the Olympic Penninsula five years ago for a number of reasons the best of which is the natural beauty. I love the water, forests, mountains, wildlife, even the weather. I’m constantly reminded here of the ‘woven world’ that is the universe and our small planet. I am humbled and awestruck at once.
I create my work in various media: copper and pewter repousee, enameled copper, oil paint, ink, a little beading. I also do some pottery. Most of my inspiration comes from the natural world. Among other subjects, I like to do birds. Who wouldn’t love to fly?
I have shown work locally at the Aberdeen Art Center, the Healing Gallery at the Grays Harbor Hospital at Aberdeen, at the Fall Gala at Gray’s Harbor College and at the South Beach Art Association gallery in Westport.
I hope you find some pleasure in my work.
